This page provides sample from some of the language, culture, literature and humanities courses that I have taken at Clemson University!

Linguistic Proficiency

This is a sample from the Chinese for International Business I 3160 course that I took in the Spring of 2024 which is a mock memo for conditions that an investor has for a company to meet for them to invest in their company.  

This sample is also from the Chinese for International Business I 3160 course that I took in the Spring of 2024 which is a mock quality draft on higher factory defective rates, the  suspected causes of the higher defective rates and potential solutions to the problems.

​This sample is a short writing on if I thought traditional Chinese architecture should be protected and preserved or it should all be modernized for my Chinese Conversation & Composition I 3050 course that I took in the Fall of 2023.

This sample was a small speech that I wrote to give in my Studies Chinese Language II 4120 I took in the Fall of 2024 introducing some of the best parts of the campus of Clemson University to a prospective student.

Cultural Competency

This sample is from the Religion and World Politics 4080 course that I took in the Fall of 2023 on religion and the Chinese government throughout time addressing the situation and how the Chinese government is influenced religious hostility.

This sample is from the Selected Topics in Chinese Culture 4990  course that I took in the Fall of 2024 on the film "Saving Face" and the social divisions between generations within the Chinese American community.

Literature and Humanities

This sample is from the Philosophy in Ancient China 3120 course that I took in the Fall of 2022 on the views of Confucius, Mencius, and Mo Tzu on ghosts, sprits, and rituals explored through what is written in their philosophies.

This sample is from the Pre-Modern Chinese Literature 4010 course that I took in the Summer of 2024 which is a comparative and argumentative study on the symbols of Geese, Swans, Eagles, Pine Trees, Mulberry Trees, Oak Trees and Flowers in American Literature and Chinese Literature
